mun final

Committee: Human Rights Council
Country: Russia
Topic: Preventing Torture
Name: Alex Agu

Torture is an agonizing, brutal, devastating way of obtaining information. This sickening tactic doesn’t cause harm to the person that’s doing torture, but to the victim. This method has the effect of injuring the victim physically, mentally, emotionally, and he might even die to this method, but like I said before it’s a scare tactic of obtaining information. With this tactic your left with a choice, either your torture to death, or you give the suspect the information the want. There are many types of ways torture people mentally by harassing them, physically by beat to the point of death, emotionally by verbal abuse etc… but there’s one more type of torture sexually there’s act of rape, molesting, and putting object inside the victims genitals or vagina, until the victim bleed.
These act of violence or interrogation tactics are to extreme and violent to be an interrogation technique, so the delegation of Russia advises all of the human rights council to try and prevent this crime from continuing.

Russia judicial system has forbid torture to be taken place in the country of Russia. But Russian special force still commit acts of rape, beatings, electric shock , etc… the delegate of Russia believe that the prohibition of torture should not exclude Russian special forces neither Russian police forces. Russia act of torture has been to high up, as stated from Wikipedia many journalist have been killed but no more human rights should not and shall not be violated! Strange to say but Russia supports torture, the delegates of Russia have no information on why Russia uses torture but Russian police forces do. But still even though the country of Russia supports torture doesn’t mean it’s the right way to acquire information, and honestly torture should be used as last resort. These are option the delegate of Russia shall consider, either just forbidding torture from all Special Forces, or making the option of torture a last resort.

The delegate of Russia suggest that the country that has torture as an acivity of extraction of information, ban torture from the country and other countries that practice it, due to the fact that torture is a violation of the universal declaration of human rights, and also the victim that torture is used on will no longer fill the effects of such of demonic acted. Thank you and  that is all. I yield my time to questioning.

mun lesson in life

model united nation have been an adventure for me, considering that this was my first time taking the class.Model u.n has taught me a lot of things such as, stage presence, and debating.Truthfully, and not trying to be a teacher's pet or anything, but i believe everything we learned was essential to our everyday lives, especially at a job that require you to give a big presentation on stage. the most important thing that m.u.n taught me was that you always got to  be confident and make the audience feel what you want them to feel in a speech. i really taken that to heart.

mu.n can be apply to anything such as school education, there's m.u.n being taught to scholars, jobs when your a huge executive of a large industry, this subject not only helps educationally and personality wise. But what i mean by personality is that this helps build confidence and allows you to cvommunicate with different people, whether from other schools or country. m.u.n and this is how mun applies to everyday life.
